The feature class was created from the following data sets:From NLCD_2016 Landcover extractions: 500 ft zone around high intensity development; 375 ft zone around medium intensity development; 250 ft zone around low intensity development; 250 ft zone around barren land (type 31) features that are contiguous with mapped gravel pitsFrom MDOT roads data: 500 ft zone around Class 1 roads (Interstates); 375 ft zone around Class 2 and 3 roads; 250 ft zone around Class 4 roads; Class 5 roads were ignored; 250 ft along E911 private roadsRoad segments along the New Hampshire, Quebec, and New Brunswick borders were added and buffered at 250 feet for continuity. From the Building Footprints and E911 Addresses layers: 250 ft buffer zonesFrom Impervious surface data: The \"2007 Imperv\" dataset was mosaicked with missing T2 town mosaics for much of York County and areas of the Midcoast. Several gaps in coverage (notably in the Fryeburg area, but in other areas as well) were patched with cut-outs from the 2004 Imperv layer. To help correct the over-representation of minor woods roads in this impervious layer, a buffered (500\u2019) mask of E911 roads was used to extract the corresponding data from the impervious layer. A 250 ft zone was then created around the modified imperv layer elements. These layers were merged, and along with water bodies greater than 10 acres, were excluded from the state's surface area to create the layer.", "summary": "", "title": "BwH Undeveloped Blocks", "tags": [], "type": "", "typeKeywords": [], "thumbnail": "", "url": "", "minScale": "NaN", "maxScale": "NaN", "spatialReference": "", "accessInformation": "Layer assembly: Bill Hancock, Beginning with Habitat Program, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. 207-287-5258.
